Hey guys I am new here and just bought my first 80' camaro. I was wondering if someone could help me out with figuring out the year on a spare motor and tranny I have for it. The guy told me that it was the 350 with the th350 tranny,supposablly they are out of a 76 impala.
On the engine its either 14016880,44016381,14016381, or 44016881
and the tranny # was 6260233.
if someone could tell me for sure the year and some info on them that would be great.

The only engine number in your list that I can find on my lists is 14016381. That one shows up as a 305 engine used from 76-85, but it wasn't available in cars (trucks only) until 78. (trucks 76-85, cars 78-85)

Thanks Gary S, I was thinking it was a 305. The guy i got the motor off of said that it was a 350 out of a 76 impala. But it only had a double barrel carb on it so i was thinkin it was a 305. Then i seen a 76 impala at a car show and it had a double barrel on it and that was a 350, and that guy said that some 350's around that time came with only a double barrel.
