I am aquiring a full turb setup for $100 http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif
The bad thing about it is the turbo is melted but ill just get it rubuilt or something. Does anyone have any good pics of turbo z 28s or v8 cars? It is a rather unique setup. It uses stock manifolds and runs 2 exhaust pipes to the turbo and of the turbo housing comes the 3 inch piping which attaches to a 3.5 inch spacer in between the carb and intake. It controls boost by having a big flap in the spacer which doesnt open up until the turbo starts boosting. This is like a 15 yr old setup and doesnt require much ignition or fuel mods to make it work. Has anyone thought of intercooling a street one or is it too much piping? anyway some thoughts i would like to here back about. I think its pretty cool http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif

Try www.turbomustang.com (http://www.turbomustang.com) and check out the forum section. Great info.

You should never intercool that system because it sounds like a drawthrough system.

You cannot have fuel going through the intercooler because it will fall out of suspension. Plus all that fuel and air in the intercooler makes a nice bomb in case of a backfire.

I have a single turbo setup on my camaro.

Runs and drives...still have to fix some stuff though.

It will be appearing in Sports Car Revolution sometime in march I understand. Episode 6 of the new season.
