Maybe an edelbrock performer or performer rpm, to help get some more air into it and compliment the headers and duals. Then a new cam would be next. It's a tremendous cam for mild 350's. My brother ran one in his mild 400sbc ('68 Camaro) and it hauled @ss!! The cam is a proven performer. 1978LT 12-07-2004, 04:58:00 PM The 268 is a great all around street cam that will work fine with a stock stall but does great with a 2000-2500 also for extra kick. Trainman 12-07-2004, 06:03:00 PM I have the 268H in my 9.75:1 383. With stock heads it makes pretty good power from a little under 2000 to about 5000. I would say you would be better off with a little stall over stock since you might not come on the cam til a little higher than my 383, but it should work OK as long as you have decent gears. I wouldn't go any bigger unless you are getting the heads ported, and getting more convertor. |
