I need to replace the fuel pump on my 70. Has the single supply line with no recirculation line. I bought a new pump at Autozone and it is putting out about 15 psi, way too much for the Qjet. Has anyone replaced a pump lately that has about 6 to 8 psi? What number and brand or what application did you buy it for? Hate to buy another and wind up with the same high pressure. Thanks.

i have a stock style single feed pump lie you're talking about that i just removed to put on a bigger carter mech street/strip fuel pump . i got the stock pump from auto zone a couple of years ago and it would put out 6psi when first started and then stay around 4-5 psi after that , sorry i don't have the part # though
