Alright Guys it is time to try and get together our BBQ for this year. Last year we had one planned out but we got rained on twice and well nothing else happened after that, so lets hope we can have some awesome weather and a great turn out of people (friends and family)! This is going to be made a family event so everyone can feel free to pack up the camaro with the wife and kids and head over for some good food, tossing a football around maybe some basketball and some music. Now the specifics, it would be nice if everyone coming would be able to contribute in someway by bringing some sort of BBQ necessities. This will allow us to even out the cost and not put the burden on any one person or group of people. I would like to open this up to all members that feel they would like to make the trip either in Eastern PA, Northern NJ, upstate NY, Long Island and NYC guys, as well as Western CT. Its really not a far drive from those areas so lets see what we can get!

Place: James Baird State Park in LaGrange NY off of Taconic State Parkway

Time: 11:00am (I will be there earlier)

Please post up here any questions you have along with if you are planning on coming, what you would like to bring that has not already been taken, and the amount of people you will be bringing with you (the camaro is already assumed but we'll still allow you even without it). Please show this link to all of the guys you can think of that would be within the driving area of this BBQ it would be nice to have a big gathering towards the end of the cruising season and maybe making it an annual event!

Hey Eric... What a coincidence. I will be up in Westchester with my Camaro that Friday (bringing it up from my parents house on Long Island to show and tell some people at work). So, you can count me in if the weather is nice. Let me know what you need me to bring, and I will bring it. I will bring at least one person with me also.

Eric, I might be flying solo that day, wifey has to work, and the kid will be at grandmas. Put me down for chips, pretzels and the buns for the dogs and burgers.

Also...Lets see if we can get a huge group shot of the 2nd Gens and then maybe make the cover of the NastyZ calender this year!!! Had the back for 2007 :). I have a new and much better camera now, the ideas for group shots are running in my head so we'll have to put aside about 45min prob. for some photos group shots for the cover of the calender maybe and then some individuals of everyones car.

This could turnout to be pretty big....hopefully weather permits.

Also...It was brought to my attention about alcoholic beverages. Bring your own!!! I can not buy them so they are not included in the beverages that i will be bringing, im bringing more like soda, iced tea, lemonade...those beverages. So feel free to bring your own beer if you would like.

Also it would be nice if everyone that has a cooler brings it so we have places to put the drinks along with the food before it gets cooked up. A bag of ice or 2 and a cooler a person should be good for us.

Well we have about 8 guys that are deffinatly in. To me thats impressive. Im hoping to get more later tonight when the Long Island guys meet up and decide that they should all come up together. We might be able to get 3 or 4 more guys from Long Island if they decide to come. Also Wayne (rscamaro) was showing some interest in it; and im hoping that Lammy will be able to come also. Am i forgetting any other guys? Who should i be PMing? What is Bart or Burt (i forget which one) sn then ill pm him. He was at the cruise with that beautiful 70-73.

Everyone will be glad to know that my PM's have begun :) . According the Ben they are very annoying and i will prob. send one a day until Sat :) so no one forgets. I sent out about 25 PM's to people and i will wait to hear back from everyone so that we can figure out what food will be brought and the number of people. Please everyone pm me back it is easier for me to have everything in the PM box and then i will update the main post like i have been doing with the number of people and what everyone is bringing. I believe Dave said he would bring Charcol and lighter fluid. As to how much we need I do not know because i dont cook on charcol grills so someone chime in on that please (and volunteer to cook :) )

HAHA, me too Brendan. Im infamous for forgetting my inspection. As Eric! Mine is overdue as we speak. As a amatter of fact, my daily driver was up in June, and the z was up in May I think. :mad: I probably wont have time to get it done by Saturday. I hope Mike and Doug take it easy on me ;)

It was great to see everyone again and meet some new people! i hope everyone enjoyed themselves and it was a fun little ride down taconic on the way home like always!!!
