All I need for a stinking inspection sticker is for the horn to work. I am at a loss here cause when I bought the car, the horn wasnt hooked up. All the research I've done suggests that I might be missing some parts in the steering column, the horn plunger assembly? I have a Grant wheel, its got the spring and the wire, I'm not sure if theres something that goes in the tube before the spring. Is there a fuse or a contact of some kind?

Which grant wheel do you have? Also, have you checked the relay?
I'm not sure if this will help or not. The pictures are not that great

Its a signature series. I spoke with Mad Mike at Year One this morning, I am missing the contact bushing that goes into the column, before the spring. I also ordered a new horn relay. Waiting for UPS now...

Get one of those clown blow horns. The law doesn't say that the horn has to be electric.
It worked for our '29 Ford roadster. We simply un-clamped it from the windshield frame when we got home.
