The only numbers that ar eon the block are GM741C Hiperf pass

With only this info could someone help with the year of manufacture and what perhaps the engine came out of.

Those numbers are generic to all 7.4L (454ci) bigblocks. The high-performance passenger thing doesn't mean squat either- it was stamped on all blocks that weren't "tall deck" units used ONLY in trucks- your block could have been from a car or truck.

You need to get at least the casting number off the rear driverside bellhousing flange to determine anything.

Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention- the block could be a 427 (same block as a 454, different crank/rods)- it was also marked the same.

look on the driver side on top where the bellhousing bolts up too. You will see
GM ########
