Guys and Gals,
Need a little help. I am looking for a copy of AOL 8.0
If anyone has a copy they can part with I would appreciate it. Cannot find a link on the internet for it anymore. Seems like they are cramming 9.0 down your throat. Having some problems with that. If you can help me out, then please let me know.

if you have a AOL CD, set windows to view hidden files and explore the contents of the CD they usually will have versions all the way back to like 5 or 6
otherwise not sure if it will work or not but try

Thanks Javelin,
You are exactly right! I think I downloaded 9.0 from the internet a while back. The latest version I have on CD is 7.0. I looked at the 7.0 cd and went all the way back to 3.0.
So now I have to find a 9.0 cd and see if it has 8.0 on it. So if anyone has a 9.0 cd, please let me know. Might go up to Best Buy in a while and see if they have one by chance.
Believe it or not with my travels, there are some places we layover at that still only have dial-up. So I have to use AOL until they get with the 21st Century.
Thanks,
Bob R

Notunique,
Many thanks for finding that link. I looked endlessly for days to no avail. That did the trick! I appreciate the time you took to find it and you taking your time to reply to this post. Thanks a million!

Now burn it to a CD for safe keeping and reinstalling when it locks up :)
