Ya I'm going to stick with it Buick G/S. Didn't they do a stage one stage two thing back in the late 60's early 70's

Nice coating on it I remember when yellow was the in engine color.

That's a tough one. I don't recognize the color. It says 350 on it and I don't remember there being any stage one buick engines other than 400's and 455's.

Hmmm...........

Buick 350 quadrajet intake off a Gran Sport, say 68 or 69, maybe a stage I?

IDLZRUF and doechsle nailed it.

Its a dual plain aluminum SBB 350 intake from TA performance.

Found it while looking for a carb for the family truckster.

They are suppose to be working on a single plain SP1 version by taking a slice out of the middle of the BBB SP1.

Also suppose to be matching aluminum heads in the works???

Isn't that what they called the "Nail Head" Buick. Had a buddy in school that had one. That was some serious kick @$$ torque.

Ummm yeah, I guess. This was in 71ish I guess (I don't remember too much of the late 60's early 70's) Maybe that wasn't a NailHead. He had a 65 or 66 Catalina convertable,,, was the same body as the 66 Impala/Caprice, just Loooooooonger. Red w/ white vinyl interior.... Beautiful land yacht
OMG what that car would be worth today!!!!

Buick, T/A perfomance. It says 350 on the back of the intake, so a wild guess would be a a Buick 350.

A motivated individual with a BFH could make that fit any engine.

nail heads are easy to ID from the flat valve covers.
They sit flat not at an angle.

Thats super mirror yeller powder coat which makes it perform better.
powder coated parts cool better then bare from the thermal bond it creates.

Found this poking around looking for an all together engine pic.
Pretty sure they are easy to tell from the valve covers.
They were the pre 455 engines. Which was their flag ship badboy. weighs in 150lbs lighter then a SBC but its like glass from the lack of metal. Why most are into them original 3.8 V6 turbo cars. [not the 3800s] But its so funny as its just basically a SBB 350 missing two cylinders. [similar to how the 4.3 is a SBC 350 missin two]
Just turbo a SBB 350, dime a dozen at junk yards.

Id put a nailhead in my family truckster if I could lift the tires like that.
