Found a good quadrajet in the junkyard, I put it on and it runs great but.... the shaft bushings are leaking. I have rebuilt q-jets before but never messed with the bushings. How hard is it to fix the leak? What will I have to do?

You need special tools (a specially built mandrel drill bit, primarily) to do it right and keep everything in line. If you're not going to shell out for the tools (which are expensive and hard to come by) you're better off sending it out to a QJet shop to have it done. You don't want to end up with a throttle shaft that binds up.

How accurate are you with a drill dress?
You have to get it within a couple thousandths and perfectly straight or you've got a junk base plate as a result.... Either leaking (bad) or binding (worse).

The tool used to bore the base for a bushing aligns through the base to keep everything nice and straight.
I paid to have it done and cost me $80. The specialty tool costs as much.

Can you tap out the old brass bushings?

Hey I just taped them out with a long punch, did'nt hurt a thing! Maybe it was rebuilt before. Well now I need to find bushings.

They didn't come with bushings from the factory that I have ever seen... Yours was apparently already rebuilt once before.

Tin Indian Peformance (http://www.tinindianperformance.com/Qjet%20parts%20and%20services.htm) sells Q-Jet throttle shaft bushings if you can't find them locally.
