My Camaro is currently metallic blue.

I am trying to come up with another color scheme that would be neat but different.

I was thinking possibly of purple with white rally stripes.

first off, i think your car looks great the way it is. purple can be cool, but if not chosen very carefully, sometimes i think that it looks.................hmmm........like youre trying too hard. does that make sense? kinda overly trendy with a shade of gay mixed in. in my opinion purple had its time and now its gone. but thats just my opinion.

have you considered the "newer" paint colors that GM is using on its trucks? the pewter, gunmetal, lead colored silver, etc?

My first response was bla bla bla,white stipes,black stripes,pffff thats sooooooooo overdone..Everybody has those colors,do something that will standout from the crowd.

If you want to stand out use a color that hasn't been used before..Like the sunset orange on the nissan 350z's with tan/beige stripes.

Or try a baldwin motion theme in non-traditional colors,like burgandy & tan/gold or the color one of the newer blues & silver..These colors may have been used before but not really in a baldwin motion theme..Theirs lots of great color combos out there that haven't been used a million times and will look good and set you apart from the crowd - plus you wouldn't have to resort to barneys theme music everytime your car rolls onto the track. http://www.headhuntersclan.us/forums/YaBBImages/grin.gif

I am like the others that think the blue with silver stripes looks good. There was also a Spring Green color in 72 that if you dumped some extra metal-flake in it would be a nice color with white stripes. 71 Sunflower Yellow with black stripes also stands out real nice and is not too common. Again your car already looks real nice with the set-up you have. Add some silver highlights to pick it up a bit and continue to blow away the competition.

You can't go wrong with flames on a car like that.
