I am entertaining the idea of installing a rev limiter. I don't have a MSD box. Just an electronic distributor. I looked up the MSD soft touch http://www.msdignition.com/rpm_1.htm but it I'm not sure if it will work with my setup.

Is there anything cheaper? I just want it in case something in the driveline breaks, not for racing.

If you have HEI you can get MSD module with revlimiter It has a Dial that you turn with a screwdriver and can be set at any incriment you want . works great thats what I use. Mine was $100.00 at a local store, looks like its $88.99 on line

Make that two very happy w/MSD coil in cap for HEI and the MSD module w/ built in rev limiter. Very reliable set up so far. It was designed for circle track guys in stock rules classes so is well tested by them as well.

I don't have the 'coil on cap' type distributor - I have the small head with separated coil. Im I S.O.L?
