Anyone running with this?
No more fuss with weights, springs and bushings.

Set a centrifugal and vacuum advance curve electronically.
These MSD Digital E-Curve distributors will drop right in your engine and fire up with three simple connections! Not only are there no external controls or boxes to mount and connect, but you can set a timing curve with the twist of a rotary dial!
That's right, no more springs or stop bushings to fumble with. A new digital module lets you select from 20 different "centrifugal" curves and five vacuum curves - that's 100 combinations! Simply remove the cap to access the rotary dials and select a curve to match your application. You can also set an rpm limit that will protect your engine from over-rev damage caused by a missed shift or driveline failure.

Sounds like a pretty trick $350 unit.

I'm not in the market for one now but it's good to know there is a unit like this out there for people who want an (almost) idiot-proof way to fine tune their timing curve.

Thanks for the info!

I've heard about them before- they sound like a pretty trick little product. Dialing in a good spark curve is not something most people spend a lot of time on and I imagine this might be worth the time savings alone vs. changing different parts in and out, testing, changing again, testing again, etc. And, of course, there's nothing to wear out unless the little electronic brain pops.

Has anyone started using this unit yet? I'm in the market now and this is my top choice. I suck at dialing in a great timing curve and this sounds like just the distributor for me. Anyone have it and have any opinions or am I going to be the first guinea pig? Look forward to hearing your opinions.
