i know should be in engine topic, but here it is anyways. i have in my camaro a 350 4bolt main, bored.030 flat tops, crane cam w/ 226degree duration and 470 lift, holley alum intake, roller tip rockers, well the carb is crap and there is no #'s to get the size of it, a friend offered me his holley 600 for $20.00, is it enough carb for what i got or do i need bigger, thanks, mark

600 is plenty for your combination. Sometimes bigger isn't better.

600 would be OK, but it's hard to beat a 750 cfm on a 350 engine!

Oh yeah, BTW a $99 Autozone Qjet for a late '60s 350 runs great and will get a tad better mileage, will save you money all the way around, and if you need tuning help Damon Nickles on here can make it outrun any Holley http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif Heck he uses one on his blown Malibu! I run a Qjet on my 406 and it's much more dependable/less hassle than the Holley I keep as a backup.
