Would the vin # be the same as the tag on the firewall

Just trying to get some facts

No...There is no connection between the VIN # and the ones on the firewall/cowl Trim tag. About the only thing they have in common is the build date, but you would need the list of VIN's from Norwood & Van Nuys to figure that out.

Can someone help me find out if my car is a real z28?I dont know what to do.Im lost.I just got a 1980 camaro z28 and i just wanted to make sure its a real z28 but i dont know how.Please help me out.
