Just took the pan off my 454 to clean it up and take a look see. Anything I should look for or be aware of?

Dude, you got junk.
I'll take it off your hands for a core....swap you for a good block....
Naw, you got a good 4 bolt block there. Just upgrade the rod and main cap hardware to ARP pieces and you'll be set.
You planning on just resealing a pan on it and running it like that ? Don't look bad to me, but I'd check the bearings if I had no clue about the motor or ever heard it run, but that's just me.
I replaced mine before I installed it and its still running to this day

Seller told me was a low mile rebuild.(ya sure) He bought a short block from an engine rebuilder and installed it. From looking at the cylinders he was telling the truth. I am leaving the bottom end alone, cleaning up the pan and reinstalling. Changing cam and heads. I was expecting a 2 bolt, nice surprise to find the seller told me the truth and I got a 4 bolt too.
