right now i have an open element drop base air cleaner.. i was given a dual snorkle air cleaner that was supposably off of a corvette.. the extentions on the snorkles are missing.. will i notice a difference if i use this air cleaner?

Not without the snorkel tubes. They duct in cold air from outside the car.

When I switched from stock air cleaner to an aftermarket one I could tell a big difference. They allow more air in, which is the next best thing to cold air.
