Need help relly bad.
We just installed a complete MSD ignition system on the mustang.
MSD 6AL, Pro billet distributor, and blaster 2 coil.

After we finally got the engine running, my brother noticed smoke rolling out of the air vents in the dash. It had this awful burnt clutch smell, or burnt plastic. After inspecting the dash we discovered that the ignition switch was EXTREMELY HOT.
We have what I believe to be an ignition switch wire running off of the coil (-) terminal. Is this the problem? What are your guys ideas?

Just disconected that wire and it runs fine. NO melting the switch or nothing! But why did they have that wire connected to the negative on the original coil? And without any problems?
