A bit vague on the details, but I can get details if needed.

I get small pool of oil in the valleys in the manifold, around the bolts.

I suspect that it is leaking up thorugh the bolt holes, but am not 100% on that.

Anyone had this before, or know what I need to do to stop it and keep the top of my engine clean?

Just put a dab of RTV on all manifold bolt....should cure all problems http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif

Common problem. I noticed it too on mine when I was working on the carb last week.

A little black RTV sealed it perfectly.

Gotta love it when the repair is a 5 minute job and isn't expensive? http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

It's also possible your intake gasket is not covering up all the gaps between your heads and intake manifold combination. For instance, using standard Fel Pro "rebuilder" intake gaskets on Dart Iron Eagle heads results in this puddling in 4 places on the intake. Ask me how I know.

If it's not obviously coming up the threads of one of the bolts you might want to keep this in mind.
