ok my camaros been stored for 3-4months now and the carb is all rebuilt and i broke the vaccum off on the back of the intake so i dont have the trans vaccume line hooked up nor the heather vaccume line, i go to start it today and reidle it, its clicking under the left valve cover, and my exaust is pure white on the left side. whats going on. theres absolutly no power at all and its chuging and shakeing like crazy, does this have anything to do with the vaccume line?

White = coolant = head gasket or intake gasket.

did you plug the vaccuum on the back of the intake? if not, that would be a major vaccuum leak..

chugging sounds like miss or valve problem, start it and spray theheader tubes with water if it doesnt burn of fast on one of the cyclinders that cyclinder is not firing.

chugeing so bad its shakeing the whole car, i tryed to fix the peacie for the intake but its not holding up (WHATS DOES THE TRANS. VAC Line DO?) and the other one from the heater vac ball is just laying there. theres absolutly no power on the car and it wants to die, and i have NO IDEA what the clicking is? anyone have ANY idea?

OK, in order,,,,
The vacuum line for the TH350 controls the modulator, it will NOT shift right if it's not connected. Fix it.

Clicking under the valve cover... collapsed lifter, broken valve spring, broken rocker, bent/broken pushrod, broken rocker stud, bent valve, cam lobe wiped out,,, just as a few possibilities. Remove the valve cover and look for some visible carnage.

Exhaust is pure white on one side,, 73454 already told you what that is. When glycoll antifreeze get's into the chamber and burns, it billows great clouds of sweet smelling white smoke. What causes it??? cracked head, cracked intake manifold, blown head gasket, cracked block, or possibly an intake gasket bleeding coolant into one of the intake ports, but usually it would also be dumping water into the oil. If the oil looks milky, you gots troubles!

Running water throught he car/? well not the best thing to do. Next time, to clean a carb buy a spray can of carb cleaner,, about $3 at most discount parts stores. Unless you disassembeled the carb and got ALL of the water out, you probably made a bigger mess than you solved.

No power, valve train noise, billowing white smoke,, I hate to say it but you better start saving for what sounds like a rather major repair bill. A compression check will probably isolate the problem cylinders, then you just got to dig into it to see what went away.

ahh, well im gona check it out, the clicking noise isent constant, its like every 8 secounds or somethings not at all, maybe something in the oil? im going to get the new valve to fix the vaccum asap. this engine is junk im just gona strip it and put a big block in but it still should run fine, it has a brand new Edlebrock Performer Intake\Carb and new compcams xenergy camshaft\lifters\timeing chain. so i dont know its all pretty new, just been stored for a few months
