I recently purchased a 79 Z28. The AC parts were removed from the engine and provided in a box. I am attempting to reinstall the AC, but I am not able locate refrigerant hoses. Any idea where these hoses can be found? Can I use any AC hoses from a mid-70's vehicle. Thanks for the assistance.

i know firebird of the same vintage as well as the X bodies 75-79 nova, ventura,phoenix and apallo will fit.

any parts store or AC store that can make hoses can do the job.

I had trouble finding my hoses on the open market. I ended up getting a real nice set on E-Bay (Evil-Bay as its known here) for about $50.

You didn’t mention if you changed anything else, but there are some other considerations you need to make (drier, R134, etc.). Check this link; I bookmarked it a while back.

I haven't changed anything - yet. All of the parts are still in the box. I know I will have to upgrade from the R12. Other then that, I'm working it on the fly. Thanks for the asssitance.
