i just picked up an engine and an intake.. The suffix code on the block is TDB. Madmike has two years for this 72 and 80, but the 80 has no listing of size. The block is painted blue, the heads are the later style that have the material cut away around the deck, and the oil dipstick is on the drivers side. Can anybody give me any info on this engine????

It also came with an odd looking intake 3919803... Is this worth anything? Thanks

To the best of my knowledge a driver side dipstick is an earlier year engine...I think its because of all the stuff going on with the driver side of the engine bay. The 305 that came from my 80 was a pass side stick.

My book says its either a 1972 307 m/t 135hp 2bbl from a K-10 & 20 or, a 1980 350 m/t 155hp 4bbl from a C-10 & 1500 pickup
