I know its been talked about before, but I cant find a yes or no answer.

I put angle plug heads on my car yesterday, and of course the headers wont clear (not even close). My buddy has a set of headers I can use for angle plug heads, but they were on his 87 firebird. Will they fit?

I put my LT 2nd gens on a third gen once, cleared everyting but the ground, they hit on every bump but they cleared the chasis so Id say it should be close.

so I'm wondering if ill have 2 clearance the floor if they were bottoming out the other way around.

a few yrs ago summit sent me shorty hedmans and i went to install them.. they hit the brace on the subframe.. i called them up and they said they sent me a pair for an 82. they sent me the correct ones and they fit perfect without removing the brace

I just picked up the 3rd gen ones, they look like a VERY tight fit. I don't have the braces there, so I think they will clear. They are not the solution to my header issues (these have been modified extensively for my buddys 3rd gen) but these will work to adjust the valve train and a quick beat run. They are also shorter then the cheapos on there.
