I have a 72 SS Camaro with a 396 and 4 spd.
It is the original engine with about 89k. HEI was installed in it and headers as well before I purchased it. All ignition electronics were replaced with accel parts and the carb was replaced with a rebuilt unit from that year and engine. The car does burn some blue smoke on hard acceleration but other than that it runs fine.

Can someone recommend the best spark plug to use in the car. I am going to get it state inspected here in NJ and want it running the best it can. Right now I have accel plugs in it.

Thanks
James

Thanks for all of your help guys.

Those are all well known brands.
