on a 1962 327 out of a corvette be a 153 tooth or 168 tooth flexplate

Stock would be 153 tooth. But parts are so interchangele on a SBC you should look at your starter 1st to make sure.

If your starter has the bolt holes that holds it to the engine in a straight line, its a starter for a 153 tooth plate.

If the holes are off set, then its for a 168 tooth.
