I bouight a Zoop's billet aluminum P/ S bracket for a 73 Saginaw pump and found the following:
1. They did not mention that you need to seal the back side pivot bolt hole that goes through the sheet metal resevoir.
2. They did not provide enoungh clearance for a fiber washer in above mentioned pivot hole.
3. the adjuster turnbuckle does not fit where they show.
4. The diagram shows the adjuster fully collapsed but the pump in the farthest away position so no adjustments can be made.
What I have done.
1. Made a new pivot point for adjusting turnbuckle.
2. Machined the mouting backet .055 for a fiber washer.
3. on my 3rd attempt to stop the leak. (2 fiber washers and a flange bolt)
Anyone usxing this damn mount successfully ?
What about March? Looks like they don't mess with this hole that has the stud/fiber washer in the backside of the pump.
Thanks for any help
Neil
