Now i'll drop pistons, cam berrings, freeze plugs, rods off at machine shop tommorow.
Cant wait to drive again.

sorry if i missed it but what happened to your last shortblock?

im in the same boat block should be fully machined and done by friday,just waiting to make my final decisions before i order the rest.

I just bit the bullet & ordered my new shortblock today. I was planning do it over the winter but decided I need some good (ie. fast) memories to make it over the 5 months the track will be closed.
I've also had one of the best summers on record for my business so there are a few spare bucks floating around the shop. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/cool.gif

I figure I'll give it 2 or 3 days before I start bugging the builder.

Rods and crank will be ordered tomorrow, pistons once the block arrives and sizing is confirmed, tire smoke is soon to follow.

Water is getting in the oil some how, Im going to take the internals out of the motor in the car now and stick 'em in another block so i'll have a spare motor..

These domes sure look small hope I have room for metal head gaskets.
