just wondering if nitrous is compression dependent like a turbo or other means of forced induction is?...or does the second fuel system compensate for it?

Nitrous with gasoline burns very fast. It is always good to use hihg octane gas with nitrous. Running 100 octane race gas would not be out of the question for safety with say 150 shot.
