i noticed the bolt that holds the tension on the power steering pump is missing on my 81 so i can't remember what size it is ,it goes into the water pump and lets you ajust the tenison!!! sound familar anyways what size is it???? thanks

Not sure of lenght, but I'm pretty sure it's a 3/8" thread with a 9/16" bolt head on it.. Common 10 to 15 cent bolt at the local hardware store.
To find lenght, just measure the brackets and boss on water pump that it goes through.

No! Stock, Grade-5!!
Not a cheap hardware store Grade-3 or whatever that you can twist in two using a long boxend 9/16" wrench!!
AND I like the Grade-8 hardware!!!
Buy them from a Welding Supply House, a Metal Shop or a Fastener Store for about half price from ACE Hardware!!!

Yeah I should have thought about the grade 3 BS. I forget that alot of places sells them, cause my local hardware store only carrys grade 5 and grade 8 bolts in any size over 3/16"
