still looking for something to build. im starting to shy away from my original bigblock idea after going thru some cost analysis. i still want something odd and badass. is there a program i can get that i can set up like a 400 block or 350 and go from there with pistons heads and induction. i had a desktopdyno program but i really hated it. id like 4-500 hp (dont we all) but not just strait up power. a nice curve in the powerband so i can be streetable yes slam corners and straits

Build a 400 with AFR 195's, 9.5:1 compression, a hydraulic flat tappet (or hyd roller if you can afford it) and an Air Gap intake and 400+ HP is as easy as falling off a log, and it will be extremely reliable. Even a stock crank and rods with cast pistons would work at this level, and would be (relatively) cheap to build.

rustbucket i like the idea. i really have been wanting to try out the edlebrock proflow efi system. basically the same as an airgap but with the fun and reliability of multiport fuel injection and a 1000cfm throttlebody. some of my friends keep throwing together combos that can make power but dont last more then a few runs, or run decent but are more dogs then a pack of pitbulls. ideally i like to ket the trottle out and have soem fun. if/when the car ever sees the track i need it to stay jusr a tenth over what is required for a cage:cool:
id also like to know if there are any free programs.
