So, I'm doing an oil change today, and taking pictures under the car for another member and I see this huge dent in my header. I was like wtf did I run over. I got on the other side of the car to take a better picture and I see a second dent wtf :mad: :mad: . So I'm trying to think what happened. Then it hits me, last October I took the car to the track and I threw my crank pulley at 6K. I guess it did do more damage than I thought :mad:

wow that thing really zinged around ,,,thats pretty deep gash in those pipes glad it missed the oil pan,,,,still sucks,,,,

wow, if it was your crank pulley it must have really bounced around in there to hit on the outside face of those header primaries. that really sucks man.

Parts aren't supposed to be rattling around in the engine bay...:eek: Kinda gives you an idea what a clutch and/or flywheel would do...
Anyway, your coated headers look a lot like mine did with all the surface rust below the motor...and mine has never been driven in the rain! I just scuffed them with a green scratch pad just to get the rust off. Turned out pretty good...we'll see how they hold up this summer.
