I'm thinking about changing over to a braided style gas line. The original one has a slight kink in it. I'm just looking at replacing from the fuel pump to the carb. It's a edelbrock carb, does anyone know who has the best prices on gas lines?

Check www.SummitRacing.com
They make kits specifically for this and it comes with I believe 3' of line and all the fittings you need for about $35. Hard to beat.

didn't I hear on here recently about braided gas line leaking fumes and such?
I think you want a teflon lined hose.

I think you want this one http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM%2DG3152&N=700+400304+4294847026+4294849363+115&autoview=sku
The one you chose is from a pressure regulator to the carb.
Oh and all hoses, teflon, braided and rubber (which is all a braided line is on the inside) can be affected by certain additives in gas. From what I have read, California seems to be the worst for this.
