i what to install my t56 in to my 78 z28.

I have a gen 1 350 internal balance
can i use the 97 flywheels the dead camaro??
are they both are internally balanced

Anything later than 86 was external balance. Any small block except the 400 earlyer was internal.

No you cant use a flywheel from a sbc engine later than 86 (external). On a pre 86 engine (internal). The external balanced flywheel on the internal balanced engine would throw the balance off so bad it would wipe the Main Bearing out in a hurry.

Just find a pre- 86 car or truck with a SBC and snag the flywheel or buy a new one.

You couldn't get it to fit even if you tried; the crank flange bolt pattern is smaller on the '86 and later externally balanced one piece blocks ( 3.00" vs 3.58")
