Right now I have a Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carb on my 79' V8 Camaro. It is in need of a rebuild, but I have the opportunity to get a remanufactured Rochester Q-jet E4ME carb. What would you guys do? Any help is appreciated because I am very novice at carbs....thanks....

Is it the original carb? If so, I think I'd keep it & rebuild it. If not, then get a rebuilt one from a reputable source. I think Edelbrock used to offer rebuilt ones. I know Holley does too.
