Hi, I have a problem with my 350, since i dont use it too much, it started to expulse too much smoke from the valve cover, the right one, i dont know what the problem could be because the engine is still as strong as years ago, any ideas???

Do you mean you are seeing a lot of blow-by from that side of the engine? If I remember correctly, I believe that means the oil rings are beginning to go. That, or your PCV valve isn't working to relieve crankcase pressure properly.

If its the oil rings, could explain why the engine still runs well due to the compression rungs being ok.

Check your PCV valve first , if lucky that's all it is, if that doesn't fix it..........

Try swapping sides with the pvc. Put the vent on the driver side, pvc on the passenger.

See if it helps.

Also, if you look at a previous post of mine from about 1 month ago I had a simular issue.

I had NOT started my engine in about 2 months. It started fine, and then after it warmed up, smoke was comming out the breather and the exhaust. thought for sure it was rings. I took it out on a good 20 minute ride. After I got home it didn't smoke at all. I figured it was just some buildup of carbon that I had to burn away.

1st I would take her for a ride and see if it clears.

There a small amout of smoke comming out the exhaust, but only when I hit the gas, and I already took a ride on it, I'm going to try changing the pvc to the other side, what you thing would be the problem if the smoke continue to comming out???

Only a wet and dry compression test will tell what the issue is.
