if i was to buy a 2 bolt 400 and make it splayed 4 bolt how much hp can it handle?

The webbing is wider on the 2 bolt block so it will be stronger than a factory 4 bolt. However you still have thin cyl. walls to contend with. If you are wanting a high horsepower motor, invest in a Dart block. Carl at CNC blocks has some good deals on that stuff.

Not worth the money and effort in my opinion. Either puts main studs in it and go or get a Dart block.

ya i was just wondering because i might be able to get my hands on a cheap 400..... but i think ill stick to building my 350
