i'm installing a new gm 290 hp crate motor in my car and i bought a chrome dress up kit for it from jegs. the question i have is, the the new chrome valve covers only have 1 hole in each cover. the holes are baffled and are about a 1 1/4" in dia. the big question is, how do i put a oil fill cap, pvc valve, and breather into only two holes? do i need both a breather and a pvc valve? by the way the carb is a edelbrock 600 cfm.

You don't need an oil fill cap

Put the PCV valve in the driver's side valve cover, and a breather in the other side. If you need to add oil, pull out the breather. That's what I do.

thanks, simple enough.
