Thinking about getting some AFR's 180 for my combo,Im running comp magnum .280 at .230@.050 and .480lift,AFR said it will be safe to use their valve-spring package(more spring forgot specs),comp cams spring is 1.250 single I bought w/cam package,Will it be safe to run AFR's valve spring with my current cam?,Im just changing my current heads and maybe adding some 1.6 comp cams roller rockers as well pushing my lift to .512,Thanks

You should be fine. The "standard" AFR springs are about 120# on the seat, about 300# open pressure- pretty mild considering it's a 1.45" dual coil spring. That's very close to the pressure specs on the recommended spring for the 280 Magnum. If you're really anal you can yank them and put in the exact springs that are recommended for the cam by using some old stock 1.25" retainers and locks off your old stock heads- they'll work just fine on the AFRs and the spring installed height will even end up pretty close to the recommended 1.70" installed height spec- close enough that a little shimming should be all it takes to bring it in perfect.

1.6s will also be fine. No clearance problems with the extra lift on AFRs until you're up about .550 or so. You'll be at .512, theoretically with 1.6s.
As long as your pushrods aren't too long you shouldn't have any problem with the rockers hitting the valve covers at max lift. You're talking about the backside (pushrid side) of the rocker rising MAYBE .020" higher due to the higher ratio, so it's not like 1.6s ever make much difference in valve cover clearance. Proper pushrod length is far more critical.
