right on. that looks sweet. Couple things? Did that short waterpump come with the engine? And it looks like the motor sits level in the car, did you use the short mounts and lower the motor down into the frame? I lowered mine 1-1/2" .

Very nice. Making hedders will be an adventure for sure.

I noticed that the engine has solid motor mounts. From my experience you shouldn't have a solid trans mount even if the car is reinforced (frame connectors, cage, etc.). If you make the engine and trans part of the frame by using all solid mounts, any twisting in that frame (and there will be some) the weakest member (which is the transmission) will pay the price. Been there, done that, HATED it.

Also, you can post your pictures from photobucket by using the image code link option (instead of the URL link) to post them. That way they show up like this:

yes the short pump came with the motor.
I used small block soild mounts.
no i didn't lower the motor at all.

I have been doing alot of reading on this motor fitting in 2nd gen camaros.
alot of people seem to think that the oil pan would hit the cross member.
Well i guess i proved them wrong.
My father in law told me i read to much
This motor fits in a 2nd gen like a glove.
I did buy a 4" bolt on glass hood.

Poly trans mount is fine as it has "give" to it and wouldn't be much different than a rubber one. Just don't run a solid mount like Moroso sells.
