I'm not going to lie, I know nothing about carburetors. I am trying to figure out what carb i have so I can get a rebuild book and learn something. If anyone thinks they can identify one by sight, I will gladly send you some pictures. Thanks in advance!

Either a detailed description or a picture would be the only way we could determine which carb you have. Even the car, and motor could help a little.

I need all the help i can get on this. I have a 79 camaro coupe, VIN calls for a 305, but everything is pointing to a 350. The guy i got it from said it was a rebuilt 350, but all of the easy to find engine codes had been stripped off. Enough about that headache though, there is a 4-barrel carb on there now, but I am just trying to figure out if I have a Rochester or Holley or something else on there. I have a couple of pictures I can email to anyone who wants to take a stab at it!

If you type the # on the tab of the carb into google, it usually comes up with the engine it was originally put on, the type of carb it is and what it came on. There is also a numbering scheme, I forget where I found it, but you can decode the number yourself too. It''s all on the internet.
