I recently saw a nova with 2 pcv valves. The hoses were tee'd and went into the edelbrock carb like normal. I was wondering if there are any advantages to running this? I didn't get to talk to the owner so I don't know what he was thinking.

I think it could work better than 1 pcv valve if, and only if, there was also two places to suck fresh air in. When using only one pcv valve it sucks fresh air in from the other valve cover, if there is another pcv valve there it would just cause a vacuum and it wouldn't do much at all. Just my opinion.

I thought it was really weird, but it was just the 2 pcv valves and thats it, no other breathers.

Ya think maybe he was just pluggin' an empty hole? The reason you have a breather on one side and a PCV valve on the other is to evacuate the blow-by gases from the crankcase.... one should be sufficient. With no ther breather he is defeating the purpose... might as well be running an evac system like I do. Means you have to change the oil more often though....
