I was on there sight and noticed they sell prepped blocks in diff stages depnding on what you want started at 599.
I have two blocks but was just curiouse if anyone has used or know some one who has used one of there block's.
Thing that seem's a little fishey to me is that there bores are prob on the looser side to acomidate all the diff piston's on the market.
Just a topic.............anyone wanna bite?:smokin:

Not a bad deal at all. Would be nice to not have to start with some greasy pos and gamble on cracks. I do believe the rule is not to bore/hone until you have the pistons in hand. But if you're familiar with the pistons you're going to use and know the proper clearance, should be able to have the block prepped to suit.

Yeah they cought my eye. And if some one was looking for a good 400 block it could be money saved for the cost there going for in my area. For a 350 block well depends on your machinist and your build. I would think though with popularity of pistons such as SRP and speed pro and others that they would maybe already have some cut for these aplications.

I looked over there info and I see they don't mention anything about sonic testing the blocks and plate honing the cylinders,
On the blocks we sell we have them fill out a spec sheet and as far as the head gasket being used and head bolt or studs as we do see a differance between the different gaskets and hardware. HMMMMMMMMM
And when we fully blue print a block we start with the main line then we blue print bore the cam tunnel and from there we deck the block to blue print and as as far as boring a 010 block to blue print those blocks are far and few to be found, then we blue bore the lifter bores to .875 or 904 or bush back to standard. So as far as them fully blue printing a block I have a hard job believing that B.S.
Here is a link I did a few years ago on blue printing a block.

Yeah CNC they arent the Cal of work you guys do Im sure. There 400 blocks mention Linebore and hone and Tq plate hone. But no mention of sonic testing this was on there sportsman block I think. I seen nothing on Tq honing on the 350 blocks......maybe on one of there more $$ upgrades it may have mentioned it...I dunno
