I am about ready to bolt my newly detailed engine, back to my turbo 350 transmission. On the three bolts that connect the torque converter to the starter flywheel, what do I torque these to? Also, is it a good idea to use lock-tight on these three bolts?
My other question is, what is the torque call out for the bolts that connect the bell housing to the engine block? Is there a special tightening order to use on these?
Thanks guys!

All that hardware I just make tight due to no room for a torque wrench normally. Red loctite on the converter bolts.
As a general rule, 3/8" bolts can take around 40 pounds.

I just crank them tight with a regular 3/8" drive ratchet. I've never lost one even without Loctite, but Loctite certainly is not a bad idea.

I'm with rust and 73454. I just tighten mine up.
On my converter being I have an 11" it has the threaded legs on it for the bolts to screw in. I hit those with my air ratchet. It's rated at 45 ft lbs of torque, but with a deep well socket I loose alittle of that.
On the trans to engine bolts well I couldnt tell you the torque I use.. They are so hard to get to in my third gen lol.
For the top ones I set my impact wrench on #3 (175 ft lbs) add about a 3 foot long extension, wobble joint, and a short socket, and zip the top and bottom bolts with it. I figure the lenght will cut down on the torque ALOT.
For the middle bolts I have to use a 9/16" wrench and I just tighten em' up as tight as I can.
I really don't see a need in special tightening order but I do go from side to side.. Like top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right
