I've had the dual exhaust on the car now for 10-11 years, never thought about changing it. Just 2 converters, no mufflers. The sound is good- not too loud, not too quiet, gets loud when I get on it. Everyone says it sounds good. Saturday, for some reason, I decided to try straight pipes. Yeah, sure was louder, but too loud. And it SOUNDED like there was no exhaust on the car. A real sloppy noise. I didn't want to even drive it. So today I had to do some clamping, cutting, welding to get it back to the way it was! What a waste of time that was...
