I want to replace my coolant overflow jog for my 1980.

Will 78-81 fit the same? I see at NDP they only list one for 78-79.

Was 80-81 different?

I replaced the overflow jug in my 80 z28 with the one from NPD listed for 78-79 models, it was a direct fit. The only difference in the tanks is that the 78-79 use a sealed cap with a vent hole in the tank. The 80-81 tanks didn't have the vent hole, the vent holes are in the overflow cap. Other than the small vent hole the tanks look identical, and use the same mounting holes.
