Does anyone know what the factory pressure cap rating is on a 77 350 with A/C. I want to replace my orginal cap as part of my engine bay freshening-up, but can't read the worn out numbers on the original cap.

I'm thinking of buying one from Year One. They have an original type AC one for only $7 bucks. Looks just like my original factory one.

I checked the N.P.D. catalog and they only showed one cap for 77-81 and it was listed as 15 lbs. Paddock has 16 lb. ones.

go with the 16 lb ones. it'll help you keep from overheating.
