I have a big block in my Camaro. And I am having another engine built for the car. I'm trying to figure out whether I have a short or long style water pump on the car currently. Can anyone tell me how I can eyeball which one I have?

Thanks in advance.

Odds are if you aren't running a supercharger, or your enging didn't come from a vette you don't have a short pump. You can tell by sliding your fingers between the back of the pump and the timming chain, if they fit you have a long pump.

Always run a long pump if you can... there are more places to attach brackets
