I just got a 77 Camaro with a 350 in it. Needs a tune up, but otherwise runs real good. However, everytime I crank it it dumps a small amount of water out both exhaust pipes. (about a ounce)
Looking at the water on the floor, it does not appear to have any anti-freeze in it. Plus, after the car idles a few moments, it stops. No signs of water in my oil or oil in my water either. So I am thinking it is condensation. Its just that I do not recall ever having a car that had condensation build up everytime I cranked it. It may just be that I'm seeing it more on this car because it has both exhaust pipes turned down just after the rear differential so it blast's it right onto the floor rather than simply dripping out like other exhaust systems.
What do you guys think. Seen this before?

Yup should be condensation that built up in the exhaust from the last time you shut the car off. When you restart it you blow it out the pipes. Nothing unusual in my opinion.

Thanks Grehg for the reply. Thats what I pretty sure it is, but I wanted a 2nd opinion.

What I was told is water is a natural by product of combustion but you don't notice it when the engine warms up because of the exhaust being hot enought to vaporize it.
