Hey Guys,

So May 5th and 6th is the annual Spring car show, swap meet, and car corral at Rhinebeck. I am coming back from school to go to it, I go every year and i always have a blast!!! I was wondering if anyone wanted to make a cruise up there and then just all hangout and walk around the show? I would be up for entering the car if everyone wanted to put theirs in, and maybe we could talk to them and see if we can all park together. If we wanna do that i would like to get a head count ahead of time so i can e-mail someone in charge and ask for x number of spots. If people dont wanna put cars in thats great with me too lol, we can cruise up then just all park together. Saturday is Rods and Customs, Sunday is Classics and Antiques. I've noticed Sunday normally gets double the amount of cars as Saturday. So its up to everyone and a majority vote as to when we all go. I'm just looking to see whose intrested and to see if i should try and get a group spot and if that is even possible.

Registration is $10 in advanced, and $15 day of show.

Show entrance in $10 children under 12 get in free.

Theres only 2 shows at Rhinebeck this one and good guys which is in Sept. Rods and customs go to this show on sat (also camaros of all years are then also) and classics go on sunday.

My name is Eric, and im glad your over here now hopefully we'll be able to have you come to some of the cruises and get togethers we will be having this seasons. If i remember correctly Guilderland is the town right next to SUNY Albany right? So if we ever do anything down state maybe you and Mr. FBDY (Mike) could cruise down to meet up wtih us together. As far as the car show goes, it sounds like Saturday might be a better day for everyone and if we dont all go together maybe we can all meet up at one time maybe by Mike's trailer. PM me if you decide to come Duane and we can meet up before the show or during.

Do you do the work on cars yourself? Mechanical? Body? Just wondering. I have to put a new headliner in the car still. Plus I think I may need to rebuild the carb. It has been 14 years since I last had the car out.

duane, i do mechanical and interior stuff myself, i have no idea how to do body and you will see when you see my car...lol (its not perfect 20 footer)

Joe...currently im not 100% possative if im going from home or albany. I might have something going on up here that i have to do Saturday which would make me go to the show on Sunday (missing meeting up with everyone, which would blow) but the current plan right now is to go home fri night then go up saturday maybe a bunch of us can cruise up together if it works out that way. Brenden (onerealZ) is going he might cruise up with us maybe, or just you and i can head up there. Its an easy ride i could meet you right off of Taconic and we take Taconic about 45min from where i'd meet you (Rt 82 exit) and then about 5min off taconic is the show.

I'll be at Rhinebeck both Saturday and Sunday. Swapmeet Saturday and probably park my Oldsmobile on the show field Sunday (might as well get a good parking spot).

This will be my 30th year attending the Rhinebeck event. I've been going since I was about 8 years old. My Dad bought a 1938 Plymouth in 1976 and we've been attending car shows ever since. He still has the Plymouth too...I have to get him motivated to get it out of the garage this year, it's been about 5 years since it's seen the road.

Rhinebeck . Saturday- Its always a great event, nice area too.

Well, i know OnerealZ (Brenden) is parking in the show. Joe and Myself are bringing the camaros up but parking in the lot. I'm not a big fan of the car show thing park my car and let people walk around it and pick out every flaw, and i like to leave when ever i want to. So Joe and i will be in the parking lot.

Mike, I also need the heater control light socket with a few inches of each wire. The little nubber on the center wire that contacts the bulb broke off and I'm having a hard time trying to solder it together.

A couple good deals in there (none in that 5K range though) there was a nice early 70's for 10,500 that was decent. Then a basket case 80 for $3900 ... so the usual decent deal, then people with Barret Jackson syndrome.

I went to Marcus Dairy after, that was pretty amazing, there was a porsche carera gt there, that thing is pretty big, suprisingly. There was also a grey primer 78-81 at Marcus, does anyone own that? It was pretty fast. There were two guys and a pretty girl in the back.

Uh oh!! Did I get someone in trouble? I was not there until 3, so there was not much chance of me meeting anyone, by the time I started looking at cars, it was trophey time. I had to rush through the whole thing. Those import guys were annoying...they should not be allowed in the same show!! Good overall though.

Whew, what a weekend huh? I was pretty beat. Glad you and Gary did well with your spot.

It was also good to see the NYZ28cruizers at the show.

Did you know that red blown early 60's vette with the huge mewats is driven 40 miles 6 days a week!! That guys says it is his commuter car!!! Underside sure looked like it!! That is crazy!!!

It was good to meet you too Mr Fbody and the rest of you guys. That was a pretty good show, I couldn't even walk the whole thing.

I could not walk the whole thing because I got there too late due to talking the wrong road for a LONG time.....ooops. I saw most of the good stuff though.
