My Chilton manual shows the suffix code CTL for '72 350(L65) so...looks like it's a match with the VIN#s being the same!

Same way w/ heads except you go to MORTEC to check casting numbers application years and then casting dates to be sure!!

Usually they and the block should be about a month to maybe 6 weeks prior the the date of the car. So the line could build the engine is all back then.
